Fraudulant Tech Support Deadbeats!!!

Okay, check this out...for the past 2 days in a row, I've been called twice (around 6pm) at home from an unidentified # by some clown with an Indian accent claiming they are Microsoft Certified and that my computer has potential malicious viruses on it. Now this moron clearly didn't know who he was dealing with as I too am Microsoft Certified as well as A+, Novell, Apple and many others. I got pretty cocky on the phone as I considered this a major insult and affront to my technical kingdom (how dare he) and I drilled him into the ground taking great pleasure in his stuttering & stammering before screaming at him to never contact my home again. This joker never stood a chance and he new it as he promptly hung up on me. Feeling victorious it suddenly occurred to me that I was so busy destroying him technically that I actually never gave him a chance to present his phony schtick and see how he was going to rip me off. Now bear in mind that I had heard of this scam before as it has happened to some of my co-workers at Loblaw a few months prior.

In any case, tonight at dinner another unidentified # showed up on the call display...I ignored the first call as I was in the middle of enjoys some delicious fried chicken but sure enough about 5 min later another call comes in and it's another jagoff with an Indian accent asking for Mr Miller and identifying himself as Jason.
I decided to take my time with this guy and flush him out a bit...he attempted to walk me through some steps on my computer to prove I had viruses, I tried to play dumb for awhile but I quickly became impatient and insisted that he devolve what his goal was. As it turns out the scam is very similar  to when your surfing the net and a popup for virus software suddenly appears claiming that your computer is infected, u download the software, it scans your system and then displays that you have 6 million viruses and the software will clean everything for a quick payment of $150 on your credit card. This is EXACTLY the same but in sub human form...the scammer wanted to take control of my system, show me that my computer was infected and then for a fee of $175 he would "take care of everything".
I kept probing for more details until the line suddenly went dead...

I will end this report by saying that I feel sorry for the elderly and other folks that aren't computer savvy who may fall prey to these kind of tech maggots! May they all rot in hades:(
