Expand Your Xbox 360 With USB Storage

Today my son was considering selling or trading in his recently purchased Halo 4 game because our 4GB Xbox 360 doesn't have enough HD space to load the game.

Fortunately for my boy who is an avid Halo player, an update released in 2010 allows you to expand the memory by 32GB using ordinary USB sticks.

However, before you plug your drives in, pay attention too a couple of things:

·  You can have two devices connected to the console at a time, enabling up to 32GB of simultaneous storage.
·  The system won’t just configure the device once it is connected to the console. You’ll need to head to the memory area in system settings, select your USB Device, and choose from Configure Now (Format and Configure the Full Device), or Customize (you can choose how much memory you want configured for Xbox360 from the free space on the device.)

It's quick and easy and if you have a couple of USB sticks lying around, just pop em into the front of your Xbox, follow the above instructions and you'll  have plenty of extra storage on your system to save games...Enjoy:)
